The updated platform makes it easier to publish research stories that combine summaries, detailed narrative, image evidence, and highlighted observations. Editors can keep the structure consistent while changing the depth of each update.
What the Update Adds
The platform now supports embedded video, image sequences, and structured text blocks, letting research updates carry their own demonstrations.
Authoring Experience
Researchers compose updates from reusable blocks, so a methods clip or figure series can be added without any custom formatting work.
Why It Matters
Media-rich updates make interim findings easier to communicate honestly, showing what a prototype actually does rather than describing it.
Future improvements may include richer video handling, category filtering, and more flexible featured-story controls.
The current setup already supports the index page, featured story, card grid, and detail page templates.
Updates can now combine embedded video, image sequences, and structured text blocks from reusable components.
Interim findings can be shown directly, with demonstrations replacing second-hand descriptions.
